The Evil Within Leaked Gameplay

The Evil Within Leaked Gameplay

Gameplay from The Evil Within  has found its way onto the internet. The off-screen gameplay is pretty bad, but it gives a sense of what we can expect. The game seems to add scares that are more focused on the psychological aspect of horror. Like a flood with blood rushing against you a la The Shining.

However, we also get to see another seen with a woman(?) jumping up and transforming into a monster. Somehow that reminds me of Dead Space a lot. Needless to say, watch it below in case it gets removed. Publishers and developers are so pesky about their games and leaked material.

Forgotten Memories Heading to Wii U and PS Vita

Forgotten Memories Heading to Wii U and PS Vita

The horror indie game Forgotten Memories will be released on Wii U and PS Vita this summer. The game did initially start out as an iOS title, but was later on being  developed to both Wii U and PS Vita. An Android version will come after every other version has been released.

Psychoz Interactive is developing the game on the Unity engine. The game itself takes place in an abandon hospital which was built in 1910 and later on closed in 1979. We take on the role of Rose Hawkins, an inspector in search of a missing girl and the solution to a murder case. You’ll also be joined by your partner.

The game is described as a mix between  modern and classic survival horror games. Not a lot of details surrounding the gameplay is known, but teamwork apparently plays a huge role in the game.

A developer diary of Resident Evil: Revelations has been released. The developer diary is titled “Heritage and Horror”. In the developer diary we find out more about the inspiration of the game and what they’re aiming to accomplish. The developers acknowledge that the game will be compared to the older Resident Evil titles, but they didn’t want to use the older games as some type of copy. It wasn’t said how many parts there will be in this series, but at least one or two more will most likely be released.  The game drops on May 24th to  Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii U
