Google has showed off their new tablet titled “Nexus 7“.

The tablet will be released in the middle of July, and it will cost $199. The device comes with a 7-inch display screen and it will run on the Android operating system “Jelly Bean”. The battery time varies between 8 – 10 hours, depending on your activity. The Nexus 7 can handle 8 hours of HD video playback, or 1o hours of e-reading or just plain old internet surfing.

Obviously Nexus 7 is compatible with the market place Google play. I mean, the device is created by Google and uses Android software, would be weird if it wasn’t the case.

Apple better watch out as both Google and Microsoft is starting to enter the tablet market. Although Apple holds over 50 per cent of the market, a lot can happen in the coming years. Personally I wouldn’t mind buying Google’s tablet. Microsoft’s little fail at the Microsoft Press Conference left me disinterested and rather turned off regarding it.
