Hatsune Miku Project Diva F Arriving in West This August

Hatsune Miku Project Diva F will drop in the West this coming August. The game drops on both PSN and retail for North America. Europe can look forward to it on PSN only, but hey, it’s coming to the West. The game will come with all of the updated graphics, additional songs and features of the Japanese version. A demo will be released on June 11th for U.S. and June 12th for Europe.

SEGA asked fans of Hatsune Miku on Facebook regarding the support. If they wanted the game in the west, they needed to both like and share an image. The feedback was amazing, with 25,000 likes and 15,000 shares of that particular post.

“It’s very rare that we’re able to answer the overwhelming support and demand for a game like Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F,” said John Cheng, President and COO, SEGA of America. “And we’re excited to be able to deliver this creative and unique experience for the western audience to enjoy.”

“Step onto the world’s ultimate stage! Join Hatsune Miku in an all-new video game featuring selections from her popular songs. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F features 38 unique songs including popular tracks like Tell Your World and Black Rock Shooter. Players can create and share their own Miku videos in “Edit Mode” and can customize the popular diva with over 90 costumes and 100 accessories.”

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 Debut Screenshots

Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2‘s debut screenshots have been released.  The title is tentative for the upcoming game. As you may have guessed, it’s a sequel to  Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai. It will be released to Nintendo 3DS. The teaser site went live on April 15th, followed by the real site on April 18th.

The game features  both “Touch” and “Button”-based gameplay modes. Apparently we can expect full-sized songs such as Doremifa Rondo by 40mP. A Sakura Miku costume has been revealed on the site.  Read More…

Hatsune Miku Teaser Site Opened

Hatsune Miku‘s next game has had a teaser site opened. The full site goes live on April 18th, so only a few more days. The previous Hatsune Miku game, titled Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F, was released last month in North America to the PS3. The next title will be revealed by Famitsu.

Hatsune Miku Project Diva F‘s first gameplay video has been released.

The 3-minute video is unfortunately entirely in Japanese, but you may catch up on some of the features. We previously reported on the boxart being released. The game is slated for a PS3 release on March 7th next year.

The PS3 boxart for the upcoming Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F game has been released.

Slated for a release to the PS3 on March 7th in 2013, the game was previously released to the PS Vita on August 30th this year. The cover offers no surprises in terms of bonus content or other things. Instead it show Hatsune Miku on the cover as she appears to be jumping. Below you can also find the PS Vita boxart which differs drastically from the PS3 boxart.

Sony to Release New Hatsune Miku Walkman S

It’s the fifth birthday for Hatsune Miku, the Vocaloid idol. Now, according to Gigazine, Sony will be selling three limited-edition Hastune Miku 5th Anniversary models of its Walkman S series in Japan.

The three models will becoming in blue, blue or blue with external speakers. Miku will be etched on the back with a wallpaper screen for the menu. Miku’s song, “Hoshi no Kakera” will be preinstalled on the device and will include an original neck strap. Each model will only have 3,939 serial-numbered units. The number is based on the Japanese pronunciation of “39″ as “miku”.

The units will go on sale exclusively on Sony’s online shop and in three physical Sony stores in mid-August. They will be retailing for 12,800 ($164 US) without the external speakers and 15,800 ($202 US) wit the speakers.
