Minecraft‘s Xbox 360 edition will be released via retail.
The disc-based version of the game will allow players to experience the game without having to connect to Xbox Live. The retail edition will come with all of the current updates and features, along with the future ninth title update.
There won’t be any difference between the digital and retail edition in terms of updating the game or multiplayer connectivity.
A release is expected to happen on April 30th in North America. It will cost $19.99. In addition to the North American release, the game will also be released to Australia, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Singapore, and Taiwan in early June.

Cool, but i saw this on gamespot.com
It’s hard keeping the site up to date when you’re just one person. Inevitably, larger news sites will have the head start on the stories since they have a much larger team and better resources (contact with companies etc) ^^”
