Drakengard 3 will be released to PS3, Famitsu has revealed.
The action-RPG, also known as Drag-on Dragoon 3, will feature at least two lead characters. The two characters are called Zero and One:
“Zero has a special power called Utautai and flowers grow from her right eye. Zero’s left hand is a prosthetic hand and she has a reckless personality. One is the exact opposite of her sister, serious in nature and an intellectual.”
The game will feature high speed action and battles can take place both in the air and on the ground. Zero’s powers allows her “to unleash magical attacks by singing. You can use Utautai song powers when you bathe in blood which pushes your fighting power to the limit.”
Drakengard 3 is being developed by Deadly Premonition developer Access Games. Square Enix has also put together a team consisting of developers from the Drakengard series and Nier. Taro Yoko, the director on Nier and Drakengard, as the director and scenario creator for Drakengard 3. Kimihiko Fujisaka is the character designer, Keiichi Okabe is working on the music, and Drakengad producer Takamasa Shiba is the producer of Drakengard 3.
