Wii U owners will receive an exclusive demo of Rayman Legends.
The demo is apparently Ubisoft‘s feeble attempt to apologize for screwing fans and developers over. If you didn’t know, the game has been delayed to September when it was scheduled to be released this month. The excuse Ubisoft is using that they’ve “previously released all games to multiple platforms and it’s standard practice”. Except you promised that the game would be released as a Wii U exclusive. I realize you’re a big company and you think with your bank accounts, but don’t say it’s a Wii U exclusive title unless it really is it.
The very least you could have done is to release it as a Wii U exclusive title for now, then a few months later (sometime in 2014) release it to other platforms instead of completely screwing everyone over. Or, better yet, keep your promise and keep it as a Wii U exclusive title.
