Ever wonder what platforms has sold the most in Japan? Siliconera has the answer. The information was made available through the same sources that we got what games sold the best in Japan during 2012. Unsurprisingly we find that PS2 has been the most sold console in Japan with close to 22 million units sold. The total amount of units sold worldwide is 150 million. So yeah, unsurprisingly it stole the first place. A lot of the platforms listed are handhelds, which is also relatively unsurprising. Due to lack of space, and the ability to use handhelds during travel, they clearly get an upper hand.
