The latest rumors regarding THQ‘s auction sale which took place last Tuesday have been posted by CVG.
Although nothing has been confirmed, it’s enough to spark some interesting discussions.
Some rumors states that THQ’s South Park: The Stick of Truth has, or will, be sold to Ubisoft. This is not entirely set in stone as THQ believes they have the right to sell the license, whilst the South Park owners believes THQ does not have the right, mainly because they (THQ) do not wholly own South Park‘s trademark.
Furthermore, Sega is said to have acquired Relic. Surprising as it may be for it to be true. If it’s true, Sega fought over the studio against companies such as, EA, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros. Koch Media is also looking to acquire Volition, developers behind the Saints Row franchise.
As stated previously, all of the information posted here are just rumors. Until an official announcement has been made, we do not know for sure.
