Resident Evil: Revelations was released to Nintendo 3DS before any other platforms. When the announcement for the game’s release to other platforms came, a big concern was that it would be poorly ported.
However, Capcom has decided to try their best to ensure this is not the case. First off, the levels have all been upgraded to reflect each console’s hardware. In fact, hardly any levels resembles those from the original game. The bloodstains are more vivid, enemies appears in different areas than they did before, and much more. The game’s resolution has also been upgraded. The lightning, character CGs, and 3D models have all undergone major changes.
Gematsu reports that Capcom is also looking to include a similar element from the 3DS’ Streetpass. A new character will also appear in-game. His name’s Hunk.
An interesting details is that players can sell weapons obtained in Raid Mode.
