The Slimline Carbon Fibre Style Flip Case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes in a neat little bag with the MobileFun logo on the top. The case is further protected through another layer of plastic. Both of these plastic bags are easy to open.
The case is made from carbon fibre which is surprisingly soft to the touch. The material in itself leaves the Samsung Galaxy 2 well protected in its case without the phone appearing more bulky than before. The general feel of the case is that it’s made from high quality material that will withstand various daily ordeals.
This case will protect your phone from most bumps and scratches, I doubt it would withstand a drop from several meters up in the air. Then again, the chances of you dropping it from that sort of height is minimal. The case is soft enough to protect your phone from any unexpected bumps, and also strong enough to protect it against various falls. All of the essential parts are covered. Perhaps a bit too much covered?
The cutout for this case is for the most part good. You are, however, unable to charge your phone with the case on due to the lack of any cutout in that area. I realize that something had to suffer due to the phone’s general design, so perhaps it isn’t the worst thing that could happen. The other cut out areas works really well with the phone and its design, I got nothing to remark on except the lack of possibility to charge the phone with the case closed. If this is something that bothers you, you may want to check out other Galaxy Note 2 cases.
