BioShock: Infinite’s PC System Requirements Are Out
BioShock: Infinite‘s PC system requirements are now out.
You might be surprised to see that the requirements for both low and high aren’t very high.
BioShock: Infinite Minimum PC requirements:
- OS: Windows Vista Service Pack 2 32-bit
- Processor: Intel Core 2 DUO 2.4 GHz / AMD Athlon X2 2.7 GHz
- Memory: 2 GB
- Hard Drive: 20 GB free
- Video Card: DirectX10 Compatible ATI Radeon HD 3870 / NVIDIA 8800 GT / Intel HD 3000 Integrated Graphics
- Video Card Memory: 512 MB
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
BioShock: Infinite Recommended PC requirements:
- OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-bit
- Processor: Quad Core Processor
- Memory: 4 GB
- Hard Drive: 30 GB free
- Video Card: DirectX11 Compatible, AMD Radeon HD 6950 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
- Video Card Memory: 1024 MB
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
What do you think of these requirements. I must say that the hard drive space required is massive!

Requirements are ok, but unfortunately it doesn’t run on older OS versions
and if I upgrade, they older games won#t work on the new OS then..
Indeed. That’s why I prefer a PC for gaming, it’s relatively easy to get older games to work on the PC. But even then, it does happen like you said. If you upgrade, newer games will run. If you buy a computer that’s a bit older, you can no longer play the new games.
Perhaps you can look into either building your own PC, or buying one?
