In the latest Dead Space 3 trailer we get to see the two different ways you can play.
Of course you can play as the previous games’ protagonist, Isaac Clarke, but you can also play as dementia battling John Carver. Both of these characters perception will differ quite a lot, or so we’re led to believe.
On a personal level the coop appeals more to me. Not entirely sure why, but it adds a nice twist to a story we’re already all too familiar with. To not have coop in this game would make it repetitive without any innovation. That being said, hard core Dead Space fans may or may not like the direction the franchise is taking.
