Deus Ex Film Gets Director Announced

In a recent announcement, the director of the forthcoming Deus Ex film has been revealed.

CBS films made the announcement that Scott Derrickson (Sinister, The Exorcism of Emily Rose) will be directing the movie.

“Deus Ex is a phenomenal cyberpunk game with soul and intelligence,” Derrickson said in a statement. “By combining amazing action and tension with big, philosophical ideas, Deus Ex is smart, ballsy, and will make one hell of a movie.”

Additionally, Deus Ex: Human Revolution will serve as a ‘base’ for the movie.
