Most of the times I agree with the article and the authors reasoning. However, despite liking Half Life 2 immensely, I got other games which I love more. It’s an awesome game, and it’s fun to play. Still, I prefer RPGs all the way, and I’m not afraid to admit it. HL2 is a FPS, perhaps the best one made, but a FPS regardless, and thus, it falls a bit short for a RPG fan. I am drawing from memory, so it’s possible I’ll enjoy HL2 more if I replay it.
