Dead Space 3 + Co-Op = True?

The upcoming game Dead Space 3 game will feature.. Co-op!

Game Spot reports that the second character will be  “a man with a gnarly scar on his face” and that man will act as Isaac‘s guide. Apparently the game will feature various similarities to the game’s single player mode, such as the game’s plot but it will also feature differences such as how Isaac deals with experiencing traumatic events. In the single player game he suffers from  psychological breakdowns in forms of hallucinations, however in the co-op this won’t occur.

In addition to this, the player can both share ammo, heal each other and interact with the environment. Isaac will also apparently be able to crouch to subtly maneuver in the environment.  Finally the game will be set on a “snowy planet” and the game will in general be focusing on a mysterious facility.
